In January this year, we received an inquiry from a US customer about a single girder overhead crane. The customer’s business is carried out in a factory building divided into five parts, of which they occupy two parts. When we first contacted them, the customer told us that the bridge crane was used for their own workshop and said that if the quality of the equipment was satisfactory, other customers in the factory would also consider purchasing it.
Based on the parameters provided by the customer, we recommended and quoted a single girder overhead crane with a lifting capacity of 6 tons, a lifting height of 5.6 meters, and a span of 9.4 meters. At the same time, the customer also required the motor to have an IP55 protection level and an A5 working level. After the quotation was issued, the customer further asked about our production cycle. We told the customer that due to the large production volume of European single-girder bridge cranes and sufficient spare parts preparation, the production cycle is short. The customer was satisfied with this and asked about the sea freight to the Port of Miami.
After learning about the sea freight, the customer decided to produce first at an EXW price, and then decide which freight forwarder would be responsible for transportation after the production was completed. Finally, the customer also asked to customize their company’s own logo on the equipment. We happily agreed to this request and provided free customization services.
At present, this European single girder overhead crane has been shipped to the Port of Miami, and we look forward to the customer’s feedback after receiving the goods.
