The main structure of the double girder overhead crane consists of a box steel with two beams or a profiled steel with a mobile electric carriage. The lifting system consists of a winch or a wire rope hoist, running on the beams as required, allowing horizontal movement.
Double girder overhead cranes offer higher load capacity with minimal deadweight. The lifting hook can be raised between the two crane beams, allowing maximum lifting height.

Faster long-travel speeds, maintenance platforms, crane units with access platforms, service platforms and auxiliary hoists are all features that can be easily implemented.

Improved hook height: The 10 ton double girder overhead crane features a trolley that travels on top of the bridge, which improves the hook height. This enables the operator to lift higher and longer objects and materials within the work area compared to a single girder bridge crane with an underslung trolley and hook.
Auxiliary hooks on each girder: Additional hooks can be added to a single girder to add multiple lifting points to your bridge crane. These hooks can bypass each other as they are not on the same girder.
Longer spans: The 10 ton double girder overhead cranes can also span longer distances as the parallel girder design has greater combined strength than a single girder.
