In the crane industry, semi-gantry cranes are a special type of crane that combines the designs of overhead cranes and motorized gantry cranes. A semi-gantry bridge is supported on one side by an elevated runway, just like an aerial bridge. At the other end of the bridge, the crane is supported on the legs of a semi-gantry, at the end of which trucks run on wheels or wheels with tracks on the floor. In this design, power is typically provided by a power pole and current collector assembly on the elevated runway side of the semi-gantry crane and distributed to the crane trolley via a tow system. SEVENCRANE semi-gantry cranes can be controlled via a wired suspension controller or optional crane radio remote control system.
