Recently, a UAE customer asked us for a quote. The customer is a leading local fire protection, life safety and ICT solution provider. They are building a new plant to expand their business, which is expected to be completed within 4-6 months. They plan to purchase a γερανός διπλής δοκού for daily lifting of diesel engines, pumps and motors, with an operating frequency of 8-10 hours a day and 10-15 lifts per hour. The track beam of the plant is built by the contractor, and we will provide them with a complete set of double girder overhead cranes, power supply systems, electrical systems and tracks.

The customer provided the plant drawings, and the technical team confirmed that the span of the double girder overhead crane is 37.2 meters. Although we can customize it, the cost is high, so we recommend that the customer add an intermediate column to divide the equipment into two single girder overhead cranes. However, the customer said that the column would affect the handling, and the plant design has reserved space for the installation of the double girder overhead crane. Based on this, we provided a quotation and design drawings according to the customer’s original plan.

After receiving the quotation, the customer raised some requirements and questions. We gave a detailed reply and mentioned that we will attend the Saudi Arabia exhibition in mid-October and have the opportunity to visit them. The customer expressed satisfaction with our technical strength and service capabilities, and finally confirmed the order of double-beam crane worth US$50,000.
